Lieutenant Christopher Glowcheski

Lieutenant Chris Glowcheski joined the Cumming Police Department in June 2025. He brings with him over 17 years of law enforcement experience, along with a strong background in military service. Before beginning his law enforcement career, Lieutenant Glowcheski served honorably in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. He completed two combat deployments to Iraq and was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. In 2008, he joined the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, where he served in a variety of roles including the Jail Division, Uniform Patrol, Warrant Unit, and a Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force. He also spent 12 years on the SWAT team, serving as an Explosive Breacher Team Leader. At the Cumming Police Department, Lieutenant Glowcheski currently oversees the Uniform Patrol Division, Fleet Operations, the School Resource Officer Unit, and Department Equipment. He continues to serve the City of Cumming with dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to public safety.
